As Managing Partner for Parker Advisory Group, Tammy Edwards provides political campaign management and strategic planning consulting. Tammy, along with her partner Melina Johnson, launched Parker Advisory Group after a 40-year corporate career. Her expertise in strategic planning, operations, communications, marketing, community engagement and project management is leveraged at Parker Advisory Group to assist individuals, and nonprofit organizations achieve their desired outcomes.
Prior to launching Parker Advisory Group, Tammy served as Senior Vice President for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where she led the Community Development & Inclusion Division. She was also a member of the Bank’s Management Committee, which is responsible for the Kansas City Fed’s strategic planning and policy direction. Tammy retired in April 2023.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve in 2008, Tammy held various domestic and international leadership positions at Sprint Corporation for 26 years. She earned an undergraduate degree in marketing and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Tammy is very active in several civic and community organizations throughout the greater Kansas City area. She currently serves as Board Chair for Great Jobs KC, Vice Chair for the Metropolitan Community College Foundation Board and Secretary for the KC PBS Board. Tammy is also a member of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and The Missouri 100.
